The Village of Prezza has about 1,000 inhabitants, is at 480 m asl overlooking the Peligna Valley. Included among the " Authentic Villages of Italy " still has a historic center of the medieval structure with some interesting churches and palaces ; famous for the oil ( "Oil City "), the Montepulciano wine , the production of artichokes and red garlic. In the upper part of the village is the railway station of Pescara-Rome line that also offers easy connection to some nearby cities including Sulmona. There are a few shops , bars, pharmacy and post office.
